The course syllabus is devided into 8 courses (1 course consists of 16 lessions with 2 hour/each lession) and covers:

♦ TOP 1: 

– Theme: Fruit + Objects (for students from 9-12 years old)
The course syllabus consists of 8 lessons with 16 sessions based on the content and guidance of teachers
– Color materials: oil wax + water color
– Purposes:
+ Initially, students will approach picture composition
+ Discover new material: watercolor
+ Practice lines of simple objects

♦ TOP 2: 

– Theme: Cattles (for stundents aged from 9-12 years old)
The course syllabus consists of 8 lessons with 16 sessions in which students will draw with contents, topics about the animals surrounding them, such as cows, cats, dogs … and learn about composition under the guidance of teachers.
– Color materials: oil wax + water color
– Purposes:
+ Practice new compositions in pictures
+ Create effects with 2 color materials of watercolor and oil pastels
+ Practice drawing lines and forms of higher complexity with watercolor

♦ TOP 3: 

– Theme: Wildlife (for students aged from 9-12 years old)
The syllabus consists of 8 lessons with 16 sessions, students will draw with contents and topics about wildlife animals such as deer, rhinoceros, elephant, lion, leopard,..helping children to draw well with more complex lines to increase cognitive ability and creativity.
– Color materials: watercolor and get used to using poster color
– Purposes:
+ Learn completely about composition in painting (main and secondary elements, tints or shading, effects,..)
+ Start painting more complex animal images of higher levels inscreased over each painting
+ improve creativity, meticulous observation, specific approach to different issues

♦ TOP 4: 

– Theme: People, ChiBi and Manga characters (for students aged from 12-15 years old)
The syllabus consists of 8 lessons with 16 sessions in which students will familiarize themselves with lines to illustrate people’s expressions and gestures.
– Color material: poster color
– Purposes:
+ Help students use poster color better
+ Space arrangement
+ expressions and gestures of one subject with simple lines.

♦ TOP 5: 

– Theme: Painting people based on ratio and professions (for students from 12-15 years old)
The course syllabus consists of 8 lessons with 16 sessions in which students will begin to familiarize themselves with scaling and drawing human activities.
– Color materials: Random in 4 materials
– Purposes:
+ Get to know the ratio of people
+ Use poster color with proficiency
+ Look and feel human activities and occupations

♦ TOP 6: 

– Theme: Festivals (for students from 12-15 years old)
The course syllabus consists of 8 lessons with 16 sessions in which students will begin to familiarize themselves with festive activities during the year to help children to draw and understand the typical culture of each region in Vietnam.
– Color materials: Random in 4 materials
– Purposes:
+ Introduce festivals of our country throughout the year
+ Look and feel about activities in the festival
+ Picture composition of higher level of complexity

♦ TOP 7: 

– Theme: Black and White Arts (for students aged 13-16)
The course syllabus consists of 8 lessons with 16 sessions in which students will draw on topics such as blocks, simple objects, complex objects, animals, portraits,…
– Color materials: 2B-6B pencil, charcoal, pens, iron pen,…
– Purposes:
+ Practice practical observation skills to create a 3D pictures, analyze space, tint, shading, composition
+ In-depth training for children on observation skills, comparative analysis of objects and light, space around the object.
+ Students will gain aesthetic thinking to apply in reality. This course focuses on the method of reality painting in fine art, understanding shapes to compose objects as well as structures of people.
+ Assisting the children to have a solid artistic stepping stone to create creative works in the future as well as to apply in daily life such as designing houses, furniture, compose unique works of high artisticity and expertises

♦ TOP 8: 

– Theme: Landscape and still-life Sketching (for students from 13-16 years old)
The course syllabus consists of 8 lessons with 16 sessions in which students will draw on topics such as rivers, streams, forests, countryside, sea, flowers, fruits, objects,…
– Color material: Random in 4 materials
– Purposes:
+ Practice practical observation skills, spatial analysis of light, darkness.
+ Practice Flexibility in the use of materials.
+ Students will learn how to arrange, make realistic adjustments to the picture, using lines and colors as the main factor.
+ Helps students grasp and master in composition according to aesthetic principles such as proportion, scale, unity, balance, and rhythm,… helping children to have foundation to develop creativity, look and feel about the surroundings to take inspirations.
